Hi everybody in Europe and America

Hello there! We would like to share the exciting news with you, we have a new radio station created especially for the kids in Europe, Canada, and the USA ! This is a special network for kids made by kids where kids on both continents can have the chance to get to know each other better and have their very own station so that that they can express their own views, concerns and themes.  That is why it is called 'across the ocean', because it serves as a bridge for young audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Come an join in on the fun!

You can find here a wide variety of subjects and themes of interest:

  • exchange stories about  life at home and at school
  • listen to great music and learn about good books
  • discuss themes that are important to kids around the world
  • learnabout life on both continents, in Europe and North America
  • talk about history, science and the environment
  • share themes on sport and hobbies
  • girls can create their very own shows
  •
and much more.

Across the ocean offers kids and schools the opportunity to share their stories, to share their artwork, comics or animated films on the Internet.
We`ll be having reports about school exchanges, travel experiences and on how you can get involved in a world-wide exchange.

Like to join in? Great!  Anytime! Just drop us an e-mail with your questions or material. You will find all the information you'll need to get started by pressing the "Get involved" button. Or simply ask your  teacher or parent to help you out!

We would love to hear from you!

This Project is made possible through the Transatlantic programme of the Federal Republic of Germany with funds from  the European Recovery Programme (ERP) of the Federal Office for Economy and Technology (BMWi)
